Wine Consumption Guide

If you plan to have a party and still have no idea on how many bottles of wines to purchase. Here is a useful guide to help you decide.

A bottle of wine (750ml.) serves approximately 5 glasses. Typically 18 bottles serve a party of 100 people. One case carries 12 bottles.

Calculation:
persons/100×18 =1.5 cases

Summary:
100 people = 18 bottles
200 people = 36 bottles
300 people = 54 bottles
400 people = 72 bottles
500 people = 90 bottles
600 people = 108 bottles
700 people = 126 bottles
800 people = 144 bottles
900 people = 162 bottles
1000 people = 180 bottles

Functions in Thailand normally consumes 80% red wine and 20% white wine. This calculation is based on wine served as a compliment to other beverages.
